Peak & Trail was founded in 2009 by Ante Bušić, a Split-born mountaineer who grew up on Biokovo and spent his twenties guiding professionally across the Alps and Caucasus. He came home with one conviction: Croatia's mountains are world-class and almost nobody outside the country knows it.
Our team of four UIAA-certified guides has collectively led over 2,400 summits across Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro. We cap all groups at 8 people, never rush a route and believe strongly that the best mountain experience is one calibrated to the people doing it — not a fixed schedule.
